Bordeaux angripes senere samme dag.

«Boats of every description were coming across the Channel filled with service personnel and civilians escaping to freedom. The Falmouth Bay was filled with vessels. […] We were amazed at the number of vessels, all with their decks filled with people, desperate to be safe.” (Vic Angove). “[...] confused refugees, everywhere you looked these poor people having left their countries not knowing what was going to happen to them or how they were going to live, having left everything behind, it was all very tragic. This was the first time that I had seen Falmouth Harbour so crowded with ships of all shapes and sizes that you couldn’t put a pin between them.” (Norah Butler).

18-20. juni registreres 128 skip som ankommet havnen. Havnekontoret innrømmer selv i journalen sin at «The dates of arrivals in Falmouth Bay are only approximate in consequence of the very large numbers of vessels anchoring there during the month of June.” Hun rekker likevel å laste 40 tonn ferskvann i Falmouth.

D/S Kristianiafjord blir liggende utenfor Fawley sør for Southampton fram til 1. juli.
